Many friends and family have urged me to start a blog so here is my gift to you. I wouldn't necessarily call it a gift because I am awful at writing and keeping peoples' interest. When it comes to conversations about James and I, we seem to bore people to sleep. We are normal people living a mysterious world and we happen to have the craziest, best times.
James and I were married on March 18th 2011, on a beautiful Friday morning at the Salt Lake Temple. We have settled our family in the wonderful streets of South Jordan. Growing up, I always thought anything on the west side of 7th east was considered ghetto but boy was I wrong. We love it out here. James is currently in dental school and I am working as a nurse.
These last couple of months have been extremely crazy because of so many blessings. James left at the beginning of July to work in Mississippi...every time I think of Mississippi, I think of the movie, "Where the Heart is" and the kidnappers from Midnight, Mississippi. Special place in my heart for Natalie Portman :) Anyway, one week after James left for Mississippi, I was utterly shocked and thoroughly thrilled to receive the news that I was pregnant. I am currently 10 weeks and a couple days along. Our due date for our little peanut (size the baby is) is March 16 2013, two days before our two year anniversary! The sad and happy news is, James has been gone this whole time but he flies in today in two hours! Looking back, 6 weeks flew by. But I know day by day, the minutes and hours dragged on for me wanting to be with my cute daddy to be. We have been so blessed. Some other great news for James...he passed his dental boards! This was probably the hardest test I have heard of (a thousand times worse than nursing boards and I loathe that test). James studied so hard and his efforts have paid off. So proud of him.
This pass week on Friday, there was a beautiful grave site funeral for the most amazing woman, Aunt Louise. Truly an inspiration to all, she was the most hard working, loving woman on this planet. She lived to be 100 years old and she made every second count. Friday was a great reminder to me of how much family and friends truly affect our lives and how grateful we are for each and every one of you. We love you!
That's too bad about Louise, we hadn't heard. I hope everyone is doing well, so excited for that James is coming home soon! Yay for blogs :)
