James and I had our 12 week appointment to check the status of our little baby inside of me last Thursday. Nervous that there wouldn't be a heartbeat due to complications earlier this month, James and I cried when we were able to hear a very strong heartbeat at the appointment. The doctor said we would have less than 5% of miscarrying which is wonderful news. It's funny to think that only a couple months ago, what worried me most was that I would not be able to get pregnant. Now that I am, my whole world revolves around this baby inside of me...literally. Foods I once loved and could eat endless, no longer have the same appeal to me. Chocolate has lost its taste (tear), and my diet has changed significantly. Instead of 3 huge meals a day, its 7 small meals a day starting at 4 am and ending at 11 pm. Our lives will revolve around this baby forever which brings a smile to my face. We have been truly blessed and can't wait to find out the gender on September 26!
